Summary
At the start of Chapter 22, Jo returns back home from a day of work and finds Gabe laying down a smoother gravel driveway leading to his house. As they go into his house, Jo fearlessly kisses Gabe in front of Katherine, and asks if she could read Katherine’s two books of poems.
Later that night, in Chapter 23, Jo shaves off Gabe’s beard, and Ursa says that their flowering relationship counts as her fourth miracle.
Chapter 24 describes how Jo and Gabe have sex after she reads him some of the poems from Katherine’s book.
In Chapter 25, Jo convinces Gabe to go with her to Champaign-Urbana to help her move some of her belongings into the house she will share with Tabby.
In Chapter 26, after they do move the stuff, they have Tabby babysit Ursa while Jo takes Gabe around the campus...
