Summary
A year after her arrival, Beatriz is finding that London suits her quite well. She has started taking political science classes at a London university and she’s settled into her cozy flat. For the first time in her life, she’s pursuing an education and living independently.
She continues to meet with Dwyer, who reports that Eduardo has not yet been released from Castro’s prison, and she’s slowly making progress on seducing Ramon, who is enrolled in two of her classes. One day, Dwyer appears in her apartment to give Beatriz a new mission. There is a Soviet colonel who has information about the Soviet weapons being passed to Cuba. He will be at a party in London and Beatriz has instructions to wear a red dress with a red rose in her hair. The Colonel will be looking for...
