Summary

In "Crawford Confides," on Sunday, Two talked to Crawford. He seemed distracted and edgy. He explained that his cousin had been beaten up in town the night prior. As Crawford explained, Two paralleled the hate crimes he and his family suffered to those she had witnessed against Native Americans. She tried "to show her concern, but didn't know how" (79).

In "The Last Dive," while preparing for her dive, Two thought more about Strong-Red-Wolf's letter. She did not like that he had discovered the buffalo trace, and she had not. As the show began, Two's mind was still distracted. Ocher seemed discomfited and edgy, too. Somewhere a dog barked tirelessly. Though worried, Two did the jump anyway.
