Summary
Miel walks from her house over to the Bonner pumpkin farm in the middle of the night, and privately resolves that she will not allow the Bonner sisters to bully her around. When she returns home, Aracely is still awake. They talk about how Emma Owens, the secretary at Miel’s high school, and also Aracely’s most loyal customer for lovesickness cures, is due to come by the house sooner rather than later.
