Luke Richardson

Luke is a 37-year-old father of three. He is a single parent after his wife, Natalie, dies from cancer. He had known his wife since they were children. They had been next door neighbors on Winter lane in Pentwater but they had spent years apart after Luke is placed in foster care. They do not meet again until college. Luke’s father, a fisherman, was an abusive drunk. He used to beat Luke but stopped after social services were notified about possible abuse. He continued beating Luke’s mother however, and she and her baby died when his dad beat her while pregnant. Luke was 14 at the time and was placed in foster care. Luke is terrified of becoming like his father and suppresses his anger. He is scared of the rage inside him and he copes by punching a punching bag in his basement.
