Summary

In Chapter 14, Luke took photos of May and Will on their last day of school. Annie was there looking after Clayton, offering to babysit him in Luke’s home instead of her own since the day Luke had collected him for the fake doctor’s appointment. Luke took the children to school and went to his appointment with Ms. Mason. They had had several meetings about Will and Luke could tell that Ms. Mason liked him. At the meeting, she asked Luke if he could sign forms approving to enroll Will in honors classes. Luke signed the papers and noted Ms. Mason’s disappointment when he stood to go. On his way out, she gave him a card with her cell number on it, telling him to call or text anytime and to call her by her first name, Felicity.
