Summary
Chapter 31 continues Dimple’s perspective as she and Rishi enter the elevator to go on their non-date. They get into Rishi’s BMW convertible, Dimple clearly impressed. At one point they both turn to look at each other and “when their gazes locked, he flushed, the tips of his ears turning pink” (204). The chapter ends with them each feeling romantic tension.
Chapter 32 also starts from Dimple’s perspective, as they arrive at a store called “Two Sisters Bar and Books” (205). The perspective changes to Rishi as the waiter greets them and already knows Dimple (as Rishi went a week early to check out the venue) and she is alarmed. As they sit down, Dimple sees the book A Wrinkle in Time at her seat and softens. Rishi explains he got her a 2009 edition, as that was the year they met. Rishi is worried...
