Summary

Chapter 23 starts from Rishi’s perspective as he meets Leo Tilden. Leo asks him about his costume and he stumbles, unable to answer as he is dumbstruck, and Dimple responds for him, explaining his costume to Leo. Leo asks if he has sketches with him, and even though Rishi has sketches in his backpack he says no. The perspective changes to Dimple and she notices that Rishi’s mood has changed, and he wants to leave. They run into the person who invited Rishi to the event though while on their way, and start to talk to him. Kevin asks Rishi about his costume and comic art and he simply says he is going to MIT, and the chapter ends with Rishi explaining his costume is, “Just an obscure Indian comic from when I was a kid” (156).
