Summary

Chapter 8 starts from Dimple’s perspective as she and Celia walk into the lecture hall together on their first day. They both notice that Rishi is not there yet and wonder if he dropped out. The perspective changes to Rishi as he walks around campus in a daze after telling his parents what happened with Dimple. While walking around he notices a banner for some manga characters and talks to a student about Little Comic Con, realizing he is late to class. The perspective changes back to Dimple as she scans the room. The teacher starts talking about Insomnia Con and tells the students they will have a partner and will develop an app together, and the grand prize if they win is an opportunity to meet with Jenny Lindt to make their app market ready, and fund the advertising.
