Lacey May's House
Lacey May's first house, purchased with Robbie, is a symbol of the past. Even after she and the girls move out of the house, Lacey does not sell it. She holds onto the property because she has yet to let go of her love for Robbie. The house is an extension of her former relationship with Robbie, and thus she is reluctant to get rid of it. She is furious when she learns that Robbie has later sold the house without telling her, seeing his act as the symbolic destruction of their past life as a couple.
Ray
Ray's character is a symbol of love. Ray loves Jade in a way that she has never been loved before. Ray also loves and devotes himself to Gee like he is his own son. Everything he does is in the name of caring for his family...
