Chapters 47 and 48 Summary

In Chapter 47, when Gilbert arrives home, Amy hands him a picture of their father as a going away gift. Amy says that Gilbert is a lot like their father and suggests that if he had gotten out of Endora that he might not have killed himself. After eating dinner, Gilbert drives to the convenience store to buy condoms.
