Chapters 35 and 36 Summary

In Chapter 35, Gilbert wakes up the next morning and goes into the bathroom. When he hears splashing, he realizes that he forget about Arnie in the bathtub the night before when Tucker called Gilbert on the phone. Arnie has spent the entire night in the tub. Arnie is so upset that he won't eat his breakfast and then runs away where nobody can find him. Gilbert looks for Arnie on his way to work but calls Amy to tell her that he can't find Arnie.

In Chapter 36, Gilbert is working when Lance Dodge comes into the store to see him. Suddenly, a pack of kids comes inside looking for Lance and Gilbert hides Lance in the storage room. When Gilbert lets the kids into the storage room, Lance runs out the back door, around the front of the store and begs...
