Chapter Twenty-One Summary
Janie and Reeve pick up right where they left off, as though she'd never been gone at all. She has gone home, hoping to find life there would return to normal too, but she couldn't be further from it. While it seems easy to go back to her routine with Reeve, her parents are another story. She would never have dreamed that they could change so much in such a short time. Now, they need her. Still, she is determined to repair everything - to make it all okay again. She talks to them about happy times they've shared, reminding them of good times.
