Chapters Eleven and Twelve Summary
Reeve asks for and gets permission to take Jennie out, provided he brings her back at their prearranged time. Jodie can't believe the change in Jennie. It's like she has just come to life after a long hibernation. Jodie can see that Jennie is in love, and has found what Jodie keeps hoping to find, but hasn't as yet. Jennie dances circles around him and Jodie realizes that this is the sister she was hoping for and that they hadn't seen before this.
