Marc Solomon
The youngest child of the Solomon family and the prodigal son, Marc carries the expectations of not just his parents, but the entire kibbutz as well. During his life, he does what everyone expects of him, including being law-abiding and respectful while growing up. Later, he becomes a commando in the IDF, but then goes on to make a name for himself in America, where he has his own financial services firm as well as a blonde American wife and children. However, as he faces the police's discrimination and his intimacy with Carolyn dwindles, the hollowness of his life in America is exposed.
Once Yakov passes away and Marc returns to the kibbutz, he is reminded of how much he has missed the life he had enjoyed in the community. He is able to distinguish his time spent as a commando and his childhood in the kibbutz...
