With his mother on a trip to America, Joseph, Shira's son, is apprehensive about being home alone. His father was supposed to pick him up and never arrived, though Joseph does not like his father's new family anyway. He is constantly teased by his cousins that his real father is Avi Strauss, though his best friend Mattan assures him he is not.
