Heidi Schreck
Heidi Schreck is the play’s author, and in the production upon which this text is based, also its lead performer. As she describes herself, she is in her early forties, and a professional actor. She also describes herself as having spent much of her teen years participating in competitions in which she debated different aspects of the nature and history of the United States Constitution. Most of the content in the first third of the play consists of stories about her experiences in those competitions.
