Tessa calls Robin the next morning and they make plans to meet for dinner. When Robin gets out bed to go to bathroom, he realizes he has a hangover. Tessa and Robin meet for dinner. Tessa takes Robin into an alley and they start making out. As they are heading towards Tessa's dorm room, Robin realizes that the next day is Valentine's Day. He starts thinking about Sophie and then tells Tessa that they can't be together. As Tessa leaves for her dorm, Robin sees Sophie standing in the street staring at him. When Robin looks Sophie in the eyes, he knows she saw everything. Sophie smacks Robin and asks him how he could cheat on her. Robin says he loves her and that he ended it with Tessa.
