Pages 144-156 Summary
Robin shuts off his cell phone when Sophie starts calling it. Then Sophie calls the house phone every 10 minutes. Robin's parents are thinking about not going to in Vermont they're supposed to attend on Saturday, but Robin tells them to go. He wishes he could call his college friends to discuss his problems, but realizes he can't because then they'll find out he's in high school. By Saturday afternoon, Robin has yanked the phone cord out of the wall, so his parents send the neighbor, Mrs. Jeffries, over to check on Robin. Robin calls his parents and they tell him they are snowed into Vermont and they won't be home until the morning.
