Summary

In Chapter 16, when Sierra’s mother confronts her about Caleb, Sierra tells her that whatever Andrew has told them about Caleb was not told to them because Andrew was worried about Sierra. It was because he wanted to hurt Caleb or get back at Sierra for not dating him.

Sierra, and her mother and father take a walk to talk about Caleb. Sierra tells them what happened with Caleb’s sister and what kind of person Caleb has turned out to be. They are upset because it was not Sierra who told them what happened, but instead Andrew. Her father admits he does not want Sierra going out with a boy who has been violent in the past. Sierra tells her parents that she is being cautious. She wants her parents not to judge Caleb and to trust her.
