Summary

In Chapter 15, Sierra shows Caleb’s picture to the photos of Elizabeth and Rachel. She imagines what they might say about the relationship. When Sierra talks to Rachel later, she learns that Rachel got a part in the play A Christmas Carol because the girl assigned the part got sick. Rachel wants Sierra to take a train back to Oregon to see her performance. Sierra asks her mother if she can go, but then admits that she does not really want to leave. She tells her mother that Caleb has invited her to meet his family that weekend. It is during her conversation with her mother that Sierra learns that Andrew has talked to her father about Caleb. Her mother suggests that Sierra should talk to her father as well.

Rachel hangs up on Sierra when she tells her she will not be coming...
