Summary

In Chapter 9, Sierra uses her laptop to chat with Rachel and Elizabeth. They ask about the fate of the tree lot. She tells them her parents will not say for sure but she feels like their sales have been down. When Rachel talks about the winter formal she is planning, Sierra imagines Caleb attending the dance with her. She tells Rachel and Elizabeth that she has met a boy that she likes. They warn her not to get fussy this early in the relationship when she says that there is a problem. Both of them advise her to talk to Caleb to find out from him what happened.
