Summary
In Chapter 5, the first day their lot is open, Sierra helps a father and his seven year old daughter pick out a tree. She is touched when the girl exclaims that the lot smells like Christmas, the same thing that many of their customers say. At the drink counter Sierra makes herself a cheap peppermint mocha using coffee a packet of hot chocolate mix and a peppermint stick. As she sells her first tree, Sierra describes how the trees are wrapped for transport after they are sold.
Heather brings lunch and once again suggests Sierra find a boy she likes so they can double date. Andrew sees the girls sitting in the Airstream and waves at them.
