Summary

Chapter 34 begins from Ben’s point of view. Ben and Arthur catch Ethan and Jessie up on what’s happened recently. Ethan says that he feels bad for cockblocking them, since it was obvious what was going to happen before he and Jessie showed up. Dylan calls Ben’s phone, and asks if he and Samantha can come over and join the group. Ben gives him secret instructions on a cake to bring over. When they come over with the cake, Ben pulls Dylan aside and asks if something happened before his panic attack. Dylan said that they were in Central Park and joking around, when he said “I love you” to Samantha, and then freaked out. When they were alone in the hospital, she said it back to him.
