Alice

Alice is one of the main protagonists of the book. At the start of the book she mistakenly believes that it’s the year 1998 and she’s 29. It’s quickly revealed to Alice that she’s actually 39 years old and due to a head injury has forgotten the last ten years of her life. Alice is now the mother of three, and she’s in the middle of a vicious divorce and custody battle with the former love of her life, Nick. As a 29 year old, Alice was very kind and a little aloof. She didn’t like sticking to schedules or being busy because she felt like that got in the way of living her life. She was very enthusiastic and had a great sense of humor.
