Summary

Chapter 31

The mothers start to bake the giant pie. Everything is going well, but throughout the process Alice feels like there’s a memory building up, but she can’t recall any of the details. It eventually gets so intense that she feels like she’s going to pass out. Both Nick and Dominick go up to support her. The chapter cuts to Elisabeth writing about how she missed Alice collapsing because she was in the bathroom and started to bleed. She thought it was fitting she lost her baby in such a trashy place because it was fitting with the rest of her life.

Alice starts to get all of her memories back. She remembers how she first met Gina and the two instantly became friends. She was desperate for friends because Elisabeth had grown so bitter and snapped at Alice...
