Chapter 7 Summary
Abby writes to Dani to tell her that she is "all growed up" on account of having asked Ian to cook for her. She describes him to Dani "Tall and thin, but with some build to him, always dressed somewhere between casual and trendy." 9p. 82). She shows up at his door, and thinks about fleeing, but knocks nonetheless. Ian says that he was going to try to impress Abby, and he tried to make guinea fowl, but he burnt it. Abby says that she'll try Indian food, but she tells Ian "you're in charge of the order. I'm totally in your hands." (p. 86). Abby and Ian have Indian takeaway, and put in a DVD of a movie, but conversation takes over, and Abby "was surprised by how easy it was to talk to Ian." (p. 86).
