Summary

In Chapter 41, Andy wakes up in the hospital, aware that time has passed but unsure how much. Tyler sits in a chair next to him. He had come to the call after Andy totaled the truck. Andy broke his wrist, while his father had some bumps and bruises and needed stitches on his forehead.

Tyler asks about Karen and how she acted right before she left Andy—if she got sullen and silent—and Andy lies and tells him that she is just moody and that everything is going to be fine. Andy says he needs to get out of the hospital to see his grandfather, then learns that Henry has died.
