Summary
Elizabeth believes her marriage started when she went in for a job interview with Dr. Otto Sanborne, and he explains to her that people often make up stories, unintentionally, for their actions when they do not know their real motivation. His interest is in the stories people tell. He has created a list of questions he believes will make people fall in love with each other.
Elizabeth is working with patients when Brandie comes in. She wants Elizabeth’s love potion because despite posting romantic things on Instagram, she and her husband are having problems. Her husband, Mike, cheated on her. Eventually Elizabeth goes and gets a pill bottle and explains that Brandie should take them before she spends time with her husband. It is a sugar pill, but Brandie does not know this. The placebo works for about 40% of patients...
