Summary

In Chapter Eight, Belly had been home alone during Christmas Break when she decided to spontaneously drive up to the beach house in Cousins. She had run into Conrad and had started feeling as if she were still in love with him. She told herself it was just a memory of a love that was done and over. They spent a few days together and argued about who Ilsa was supposed to end up with in Casablanca. Without warning, Conrad left the beach house.

In Chapter Nine, Belly left Anika’s room and went back to her own dorm. She texted Taylor and asked her to come over with food. Taylor did, and then she asked Belly if she would forgive Jeremiah and take him back. Belly did not know how to answer.
