Summary
In Chapter 15, on the day of the rally, Theo was excited that Maddie was there to see the project he had been working on so hard.
A reporter asked Theo about the possibility of protestors, he said that he welcomed the debate and hoped the reporters would cover the issue as well as the protests. The protesters started when the state representatives began talking. At first, the police managed to keep the protestors controlled but then Theo heard cries and cheering, and saw a policeman had been knocked to the ground. One of the protestors was running toward the stage. Theo called out Maddie to watch out behind her. She tripped the protestor, and smiled at Theo before her expression turned to one of panic. Theo did not remember anything else before everything went black.
