Summary
Henry’s mental state spirals downwards, so Lizzie turns to Ben with the news of Henry’s struggles. Ben tells her that she needs to distance herself from Henry, but Lizzie wants to help Henry get back on the right track.
Feeling overwhelmed, Lizzie decides to visit a Unitarian church. However, she only feels awkward in the church setting. She tells Ben that the Unitarians are “not my tribe” (152), and leaves.
Sylvia decides that she wants to move to somewhere more isolated. She completely gives up on her campaigning, fundraising, and podcasting. At the same time, Margot’s meditation club is growing less and less active. Nonetheless, Lizzie continues to go.
