Summary

In Chapter 34, Eddie Flood, the hitman hired by Rob Kenna to kill Amy, arrives in South Carolina. He attempts to befriend Carlos at airport security and believes he has succeeded. Eddie asks Carlos questions about Rosie D’Antonio. Carlos takes Eddie into an interrogation room, leaves him there, and locks the door.

In Chapter 35, Steve looks at the computer records of the police officer Rosie and Amy found dead in Chapter 19. It shows that when the police officer was given his instructions for murdering Andrew Fairbanks he was also given a blood sample to leave at the scene. Amy reveals that they regularly take blood samples from staff at Maximum Impact Solutions to test for drugs. She fears that her blood samples are being left at the scene of the influencer murders in order to frame her.
