Summary
Part Two begins with Chapter 26, in which Francois Loubet receives a message from Rob Kenna explaining that Amy Wheeler is still alive. In the narration, Loubet explains his money laundering enterprise. He recalls that when he first started working with Maximum Impact Solutions he was contacted by a member of staff calling themselves Joe Blow, who proposed a scheme whereby their less prestigious clients could be used by Loubet to smuggle money.
Loubet explains that in order to physically smuggle money, it’s necessary to travel around the world for only a few days at a time, carrying bulky luggage, without looking suspicious. He points out that famous people can do this but they are no use to him because they don’t need the money. This is where the influencers come in: people who wish to lead a jet set lifestyle...
