Abby Putnam

Abby Putnam is one of two team captains for the Danvers High School varsity field hockey team as well as the team’s right forward. She has a strong independent streak. Of all the members of the team, she is the most reluctant to participate in the pseudo-witchcraft rituals Mel devises, and she is the last to sign her name in Mel’s Emilio Estevez notebook. Abby is given a significant position in relation to the other characters, as she is the team’s de facto leader.
