Summary
In Chapter 22, Walk talked to Julieta Fuentes, a woman who had worked as a dancer at Darke’s club. Julieta said that Darke had always treated her like she was his daughter. She explained that he did not watch the girls when they danced and did not ask them for dates or sexual favors. Once when a man tried to grab her, Darke had picked him up off the floor by the throat. Walk got Julieta to confirm that Darke had taken care of the father of Julieta’s son when he was beating Julieta.
