Summary

In Chapter 7, Vincent told Walk that had written to Hal, Star and Sissy’s father. Hal first told Vincent to kill himself. Later Hal decided suicide was too easy. Hal sent Vincent a picture of Sissy.

After lunch, Walk went to his doctor’s office. He told the doctor the pills were not working anymore, it took him half an hour to get up each morning. He said he had not told anyone that his muscle tremors were the result of Parkinson’s disease. He allowed everyone to assume he was just an addict. He told his doctor he could not lose his job because the people needed him.

Duchess visited Vincent at his house again. He asked about Darke. She told him again she did not need his help. She asked what happened to Sissy. Vincent explained he was trying to impress...
