Summary

On 25 December 2015, Henry wakes up from a night of grief-ridden nightmares and heads home hoping he can fix his relationship with Diego. He is heartbroken to see that his family has started opening gifts and Charlie proposes to Zooey without checking on Henry. He waits for his family to drink enough that he can sneak to Diego’s house and apologize. Henry admits he was scared because Jesse committed suicide after keeping secrets. Diego says it is best they stay friends since they still have issues to work through and Henry regretfully agrees. They trade presents including a journal Henry got for Diego and tickets that Diego got to an entertainer Henry likes. Diego says he wants Henry to press the button for himself, not anyone else.
