Chapter 71

Ed is deteriorating quickly. Eileen hopes he can make it just one more Christmas which was eight months away. There are so many things they hadn’t done. They hadn’t finished the house, she hadn’t gone back for her doctorate, and they didn’t learn any Gaelic together. If he could make it to Christmas, she could withstand whatever came next. She’d even drive him to the home the next day.

Chapter 72

Eileen returns to another channeling meeting with Bethany just for entertainment’s sake. She considers it a charade but a way to channel wisdom through performance art. Eileen learns that she’d have to pay $100 next time and $150 if she wanted a private session. She doesn’t really want to return but she is beginning to enjoy it and goes one more time.
