Summary
Chapter 41
Ed curses out one of the contractors with foul language that Eileen had never heard him use before. She apologizes to the worker and tells him that her husband is under a lot of stress. Eileen is having a lot of work done. The roof and the basement will both have to wait. She can’t live with the old furniture and wants to get all new things. There will be a lot of expenses but she can use some of their savings and use her credit line. She’d pay it all off and build up their savings again.
Chapter 42
Eileen sees her doctor about shortness of breath she’d been experiencing. She tells him that if nothing is physically wrong with Ed, she will divorce him. She can’t take it anymore. Surprisingly, Ed agrees to see Eileen’s doctor...
