Summary
A year after Nathaniel’s parents’ departure, they still had not returned, nor had they been in contact with Nathaniel or Rachel. One evening, Nathaniel found himself being once again followed by the man who had followed him onto a bus. Nathaniel once again evaded the man, and he told The Moth what had happened. The next day, The Moth invited a man named Arthur McCash to have dinner with them. McCash was much quieter and more modest than The Moth’s usual guests.
