Summary

In File No. 1619, Rose meets with Mr. Burns at the New Dynasty Chinese Restaurant and claims that the aliens came to Earth to kill him. She believes that the aliens made the deadly gas to kill anyone who had alien genetics, but the realized that nearly everyone on Earth shared these genes. Mr. Burns explained that the aliens noticed the humans when they began using Themis. The aliens returned to Earth to exterminate the last of their kind, who they assumed would be the only ones manning Themis. They stopped killing the humans when they realized that they were robbing the humans of their fates. Mr. Burns encourages Rose to defeat the aliens by using technology that has not been created by any alien descendants; therefore, she cannot use any innovations from the past 3,000 years.
