Glory and Hope Summary

Janie meets with the captain. The captain tells her they got it while slipping an envelope to Janie. The envelope contains a contract, a scholarship offer and a paycheck. A few weeks later, Janie attends her goodbye party at the nursing home. then, she goes home to Cabel's house, crawls into bed, and they off in dreamland together.

Glory and Hope Analysis

The captain is able to help Janie get through college, just as she is helping Cabel. Janie will be able to work for the police department while studying at U of M, just as Cabel plans to do.
