Chapters 11 - 20. Summary
In Chapter 11, Addie is with Soula at the store when she notices a new newspaper clipping on the board. It is an old picture of the overpass with "Dory is a numbskull" sprayed across it. Soula tells Addie that the town tried to erase the graffiti, but it just kept coming back. Finally it was revealed that Dory's little sister was behind the prank. As Soula is telling the story, Rick, the man who owns the Numbskull Pub (where Addie ate with Dwight and the girls), comes in. Addie thinks he is the one who wrote the graffiti and he tells her that he thought the graffiti was so funny that he stole the words for the name of his pub. He asks Soula if he can leave a note for the "love of his life" and then hands the note...
