Part 4, No Return Ticket: Chapters 47-51 Summary

Jarvis learns of NUMA's interest in the naval shells the AAR has recently bought and decides to contact Pitt. Before he does, Pitt meets with the photographer who took the pictures of himself and Loren. The photographer came to Pitt because of his opinion of what Daggat plans to do with the photos and Daggat's attitude. Pitt goes to see Loren and instead witnesses her climbing into Daggat's limo. Pitt joins the group in the back of the limo and announces that if Daggat does not back off Loren, he will take a sworn statement from the photographer and go public with his attempted blackmail. Daggat agrees to back off. That same night, Loren accepts the proposal from Sawyer. At the same time, Lusana is kidnapped as he waits for a flight back...
