Part Four: Insight: Chapters 59 - 62 Summary

They take the back pack to Shelton's house, but not before Tory showers on the way. The first thing that Shelton carefully tweezers from the back pack is Katherine's crumbling notebook. At the very back of the notebook, the last two pages are in better condition. There is a picture drawn of an eagle and on the back of the page, he can read one passage. It describes the eagle colony that Katherine discovered on Cole Island and her excitement. It also provides motive for her death. She describes how some guy was showing up at all the places she had. Tory reads the short entry that would be Katherine's last, reading how Katherine had heard her killer enter the lighthouse, and how she had hidden her notebook, just in case. By morning, Tory knows...
