Shelton says during his attack, his vision is perfect without glasses and Ben describes strange cravings, his arms and legs feel like they are on fire and he is invincible for a brief time before it passes and he vomits. Hi is the most sick of all and the symptoms are too similar to ignore. The common denominator seems to be Coop, so Tory researches and confirms that Parvovirus doesn't infect humans. The next day they meet in the cafeteria. Tory watches as her friends devolve, attacking the chicken on their plates with abandon. Only pulling the fire alarm stops them from being noticed.
