Chapter 98 Summary
The Mastermind pulls back from Hughes's house to watch. He relishes his twisted past. He remembers his partnerships with murders of the past. He sees himself as superior to most killers, because he not only hunts people, he hunts murderers, as well. To himself, he reveals his role in many of the serial killers the FBI has caught. He also remembers his long career as a serial killer, in many cities in the east. He worries that the FBI is catching on, however. He realizes he must kill Cross soon.
