Ballad of the Landlord Summary

A landlord tries to collect ten dollars from a tenant who has been complaining of a leaky roof and broken steps for some time. The tenant vows he will not pay the ten dollars and the landlord threatens him with eviction orders. The tenant then threatens to hit the landlord if he continues to pester him for the money. The landlord calls for the police and the tenant is arrested and given 90 days in county jail.
