Summary

In Chapter 15, Lowen reacts with horror to the revelation that Verity attempted to kill Harper. Lowen briefly summarizes the experience of reading the next few chapters, in which Verity wrote mainly about Jeremy and Chastin, rarely mentioning Harper at all. That night, Lowen and Jeremy eat dinner together on the house’s porch. There’s a distinct moment of romantic attraction between them, but they resist acting on it. Instead, before they part, Jeremy simply states that he sincerely loves Lowen’s writing. Lowen then decides to read another chapter of So Be It.
